WHAT WE BELIEVE AND TEACH
- Scriptures:
The 66 books of the Bible are divinely inspired, without error, and serve as the only infallible guide for faith and practice.
(References: Job 32:8; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; Rom. 10:17; 1 Pet. 1:19-21)
- God:
One eternal God, Creator and Preserver, exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—of one substance, equal in power and glory.
(References: Gen. 1:1; Ex. 3:13-14; Eph. 4:4-6; 1 Tim. 2:5; James 4:12)
- Jesus Christ:
The eternal Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, unites divine and human natures. He lived a sinless life, died as a substitute for sinners, rose bodily on the third day, ascended to the Father, and will return in glory.
(References: Is. 7:14; Matt. 1:18-25; John 1:12-14; Acts 1:4-11)
- Holy Spirit:
The third Person of the Trinity glorifies Christ and applies His work to believers by convicting, regenerating, indwelling, guiding, instructing, and empowering them for godly living and service.
(References: Matt. 3:11; Rom. 8:9-13; Eph. 5:15-20)
- Man:
Created in God’s image but fallen through sin, mankind became depraved and subject to spiritual and physical death. Redemption is available only through faith in Jesus Christ by grace.
(References: Gen. 1:26-28; Rom. 3:23; Rom. 6:23)
- Salvation:
Jesus’ substitutionary death offers justification and eternal life to those who repent and believe. Salvation begins with the Holy Spirit’s regeneration and leads to spiritual growth and service.
(References: Titus 3:5-7; Eph. 2:1-10; John 3:14-17)
